I went to Nappa,Goodyear,Auto Zone and Advanced Auto, all said the Exide 18 month old battery was good. The green light was on my charger, but still the starter would turn too slow to start. I go to Pep Boys where they had a large tester on the shelve, not like the hand held everyone else used. The Pep Boys tester even gives a printed receipt, that showed bad cell. The guy behind the counter said that machine is 99% accurate. I believed him and went home to order a 6 volt Optima, the car started right up.
