He retired a while back but he left his web site up for information. Folks don't maintain that stuff forever so at some point it's bound to happen. It's too bad. It was a good site for information on a lot of older transmission types.
Ford used the large case cruise-o-matic clear up till the C6 came available. The 460 cars came with the C6 and the 462 in the last years of MEL operation. The 430 cars had the large case cruise-o-matic.
It opened for me but it may not be up for a lot longer.
