It was the standard 4 speed in most Ford pickups/trucks (up to F6) from 1929-52 The model AA was the first to get them. T98s were used in some 1.5 ton trucks from 48-52. IHC used them up to the mid 50s; they co-existed with T98s in the 50s. Reo Speedwagons used them as well.
