Engine #1

This is the engine i took in to get rebuilt in the blue stand. My dad says he remembers something happening to it where he needed the heads off. It looks to me that two valves are either bent of cocked in there somehow? Not sure why this would happen or what might be wrong. He said he broke a stud. I did see that there is one stud broke. This is the engine that was in the car. I know its not a 32' block. I was hoping that this engine would be good enough to rebuild. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Engine #2

This is the engine in the red stand and the engine is blue. This he says was an excellent candidate for a rebuild. Looks like a 36' ish block due to the part number on the oil seal?
