I run full-pressure B's and have never filled those slots. The ones that need to be filled are the 2 similar slots on the upper part of the pump. I fill those with JB weld. I have brazed them but that ruins the bushing and it must be replaced. I lightly drill a small depression in the pump to prevent movement of the JB weld.
