The "silicone impregnated" gasket is a ticking time bomb. The question is not "if" it will fail, but "when". When it fails, you end up with a crankcase full of water. Mine failed after about 5 years. It just turned to goo. Took 3 weeks to clean the block and head properly for the new gasket.
