Re: 6 volt fuel pump
Mine from Mac's bought last year is a Carter 6V. I run it as a backup and for priming only but the mechanical pump cannot pull through it when turned off. The Airtex pump mentioned above can be turned off and allow the mechanical pump only to run.
It's that time of year for vapor lock! But I'm not complaining...
