About 25 years ago I removed the tank on one of my Studebaker radiators and cleaned the tubes and straightened the fins. It took some time, but wasn't too bad a job. I kept a blow gun in one hand and a small flame in the other. Heat the solder and blow it away. Just keep going around until it's all blown away, then lift off the tank and start cleaning.
