It doesn't just fit if you are restoring a Model B the correct fan is the one used on the late '31. It carries a different part number because Ford renumbered all of the parts even though they were identical to the previous part (not one of Ford's better ideas). If you are talking about the '33-'34 four blade fan it also fits and was the one the Green Bible listed as a replacement for 1928-34.

MAC's actually shows their 2 blade cast aluminum fan (A8600A) as fitting 1928-34. Their stamped steel fans show through 1931 only but I assume it is an error?
