Default Re: 1934 Ford Radio bracket id

Since no one has mentioned how it fits and that seemed to be part of the original question, here goes: the shouldered stud and the pointed end go to the firewall with the pointed end up, the shouldered stud going through the hole in the firewall (which has to be punched out if the car never had a glove box radio before) with a nut on the outside and the point digging into the firewall insulator (possibly designed to pierce the paint to create a ground, not sure?). The shoulder is there to allow tightening of the bolt without crushing the firewall insulator. The other stud goes through the hole in the bracket on the back of the radio with a nut to support the back of the radio.
