I know it's got an electric pump, but is it delivering a good quantity of fuel? Could still be a partially blocked fuel line. Float valve good in the carb? And as above, has it got a fuel filter? Check it's clean. I would check these things first as it sounds a bit like it'll run till the float bowl empties.
All easy to check.
