I am looking for an good set of after-market accessory Cowl-lites that are attached to the accompanying accessory Cowl-Band. These units were built for and marked to owners of the 1928 and 1929 Ford built car bodies - not the wider Briggs and Murray bodies. This paired unit mounts right behind the rear of the hood, at the beginning of the cowl. I am not looking for the currently available cowl lites that are further back and have no cowl band, which were standard on Briggs and Murray built bodies, and many like to use to 'Dress up' their standard Ford-built car bodies. Neither am I looking for a standard Ford cowl band.

These units are not too common - I have only seen them on cars twice (in 60 years of looking), on cars in old photos, twice. There were several manufacturers, examples of their adds can be found in Mary Malones book, "Those Wonderful Unauthorized Accessories".

Thanks for any help in locating these. - Doug Vieyra, Eureka, Calif
