Dick: I will send you a PM with contact info for a lock smith. For an original car the glove box and the trunk are keyed alike. If you have a key for the glove box try in in the trunk. If you do not have a key for the glove box lock remove the entire lock assembly before putting in the glove box and it should have a key code stamped into the lock. You could reinstall the glove box lock and ask the lock smith to cut a key to the code and then try in in the trunk and the glove box.
