Default Re: 59a in a '35, where to mount the fan???

just finished putting the 59a in the 35 (a couple months ago). had help. works great. original fan on a modified gen bracket to allow room for trip carbs. had to change the double crank pully to single of course and go with an offset generator bracket. im using the single wire alt powermaster from h&h flatheads. i had to have the nut on the alt machined down to allow the fan to go by (1/4" or so). The pully is so small, there is no more "reving" (at all) to get the alt to trigger. its excellent as far as that goes. I have about 3/4" to the stock radiator. no trouble so far and have put 1000 miles on the car since. still using the same stock tranny. headers fit ok around stock steeing box. and new motor mounts. if you look at my old posts. these plenty showing my struggle. If a was to do it again, i would...it would only take me 2000 hours less time. (plus or minus of course). Have fun CP.
