Default Re: Motor Rebuilding

The builder that Dick has recommended has prices that are in line with any that I have seen so far. Having just completed a rebuild on my own engine, he is very reasonable I did everything that I could myself except for the machneing and babbet pours. I am a fan of babbet over the inserts in a Model A . The closer to original the better as far as I am concerned. Doing most of the rebuild myself, it still cost me over 2,000 dollars. The other problem that you have to consider is shipping if the rebuilder is any distance away. I shipped a 1930 Willies 6 from New York to Fla. and it was over 500 dollars. I don't remember exactly how much. Good luck on your project., Jack
