Subscribed. I started doing the same thing. I'll say you need to figure out how to keep the original crossmember secured, as it's a key component of the F1's frame, brake system, pedals, etc. I plan on modifying an F2 crossmember for mine. I'll also have a second crossmember to hold the trans, and a bolt-on "skidplate" to join the two together.
