Thanks Allen and 40. I just ordered a shut-off valve from C&G which will replace the old valve which was located near the middle of the long heater hose which goes from the driver-side lower radiator hose to the lower heater connection. This new valve is the type that screws into the passenger side cylinder head. I never liked its old location anyway as the hose laid on the frame beside some electrical wiring and was hard to operate.
