The first Brylcreem product was created in 1928; coincidently, the same year as the "New Ford".
Possilbly in response to folded-down windshields.
I recall one time in the 50's, where I mistook the Brylcreem tube as toothpaste.
I'm here to tell you, it tastes awful!
Still made today, I believe.
