The pistons came out today, Pretty much a non event. The Babbitt bearings look like they have a few more turns in them:
Picked up a hone from NAPA and honed the cylinders to see if they would clean up. Didnt look too bad.
Crank looks to be pretty good. Has a few spots I cleaned up. I think the pulley may be off something else?? It is a stamped type? Need to learn more about that end of the crank. Did find the timing mark on the crank gear.
While resting I made several batches of Maple Candy, Maple Cream and Maple fudge. Next year I hope to have the 32 at the fair also. Maple candy in molds here:
