Things about Electronic (FSI) Ignitions

1. If you leave the key ON for 30 seconds without engine running, the module will burn up.

2. The installation REQUIRES a continuous ground wire to be run back to the battery post - no "short cuts".

3. Reversing polarity of battery will burn out either a 6 or 12 volt module.

4. Hooking 12 volts to a 6 volt module will burn it out.

5 If engine is running and you remove a wire from a spark plug AND the spark inside the distributor happens to jump to the module it can be burned up.
