I have restored a few of these cars.The system can be troublesome.The best thing you can do is remove the pump system and the valve under dash board.Send it to Hydroelectric in Punta Gorda Florida, They are experts on getting these systems to work like new.Also you need to flush out all the oil lines.Then use ATF for fluid.Originally they used brake fluid a mistake as brake fluid absorbs water.
