Thanks for the info. is the plate that goes over the anchor pin and sits over the shoes necessary? I know my 64.5 Mustang didn't require have these. It seems that the springs themselves hold the tops of the shoes from slipping off.
Also The replacement springs seem a little thicker than the stocks and and the plate keeps coming off when replacing the springs. see attached original pic
Any thoughts?
