I have had State Farm ins on my old clunks for many years and have never heard of the issue you talk about here ? The policies on the old clunks are no different than my new pickup other than the agreed value . Way cheaper than the old car " specialists " quoted me and storage coverage is under $35 per 6 mo on a $20,000 car . Last time this mess came up it boiled down to where you live { WI } as coverage is different in different states . Kinda turns this subject into another " oil " question .

Be sure to check for mileage limitations if you drive your car very much. State Farm limits you to 500 miles a year. That's about 40 miles a month. Not enough for me!!
