The gentleman who restored my coupe from '83-'86 kept
meticulous records, and I was able to calculate that his total layout for purchase and restoration – just in money, not counting any of the hundreds of hours of his time – was about $28,000 in 2019 dollars.
True story, a lot of that money was spent getting the sheet metal restored by a young local guy who did restorations and hot rods named Craig Naff. Whatever happened to that guy?
