Do you have any more details on how you got these parts to work.

When I set the same parts together, the '40 style Ford drum sat against the outer lip of the F-250 plate when it was about 5/8" shy of seating on the face of the hub. At the same time the drum was all but bottomed out on the edge of the 1-3/4" shoes.
