Default Re: how do I replace stripped wheel lugs in a wide 5 hub

I would drill the head off from the inside and push it out from the inside if I wanted to have no damage to either component, the stage cutters I have seen would take metal away from the hub or drum next to the stage

The ones I have set seem to finish in the 22,24 ton range--- it's more than just folding over a lip to hold the stud in, it's about swelling up the diameter too to fill the hole solid so there's no movement possible---- it's not the same as shoving in studs on a chevy axle, you need to ask questions before you "just drop them off at the local shop"
