I was watching Scotty Kilmer the other night on YouTube, the mechanic dude that has advice on all sorts of cars and mechanical issues. I don't fully agree with every single thing he says, but fun to listen to him.
Anyway, he spoke of a guy he knew that just bought a used Tesla with 15K miles on it. The original owner paid $125,000 for the car and three years later sold it for $40,000 to the guy Scotty knows.
$85,000 depreciation
So I guess a few thousand more than book on that '36 Ford Coupe,,, hey if it is in really good shape and you like the car, what the heck!
But for $38K I would be looking at finding a three window coupe and pony up a little more cash instead!
