I measured a cover and the generator mount is just a hair under 2" wide.

Yeah Tom W. told me it looked like that as well....i just measured the generator mount and it is 1.5", and the side towards the firewall has been cut i can fill it.

Yeah it had a 3/8" thick hand made aluminium square spacer......I want to put it back to the original way it should be (done right), ever since tuning Clyde up he doesn't seem to run as smooth as hes supposed to ( I think), so im thinking the timing marks may not be lined up correctly as well.....i am tossing around the idea of getting a Snyders HC head, and the correct water pump and timing cover, and then see if the pulleys line up, some one really rushed this together!!!!!!!, id show the wiring harness in the front but am to embarrassed.
