I can't disagree with any of the above comments, it's sad to see a collection being sold for scrap, that is the problem with so many salvage yards when the owner needs to move on due to age or a property sale it's as if the vehicles could have been left for individuals to recue in the first place. A friend recently watched in disbelief at an age old salvage yard auction this summer where several hundred vehicles couldn't bring a bid & the crusher bought all remaining for I believe $35 each. Perhaps we should recruit Jay Leno to the rescue & convince him to buy a plot in the dry south west to store what remains much like the decommissioned air craft bone yard.
