Kurt, drilling from the other side wouldn't be a good idea. I'd have to drill through the head itself to get to it. Since its the thermostat housing bolt/stud, it does not go through to the other side. I have a friend who has a tig welder at work, and he might be able to do it for me. I'm going to give yours/ronnies idea a shot. I know it would work, i just dont have a tig.

I also found a friend whose father is the foreman at a machine shop. They do EDM there, and if hes willing to cut me a good deal, I'll just have him do it and have the head cleaned out while he's at it. Kind of a one stop shop, done and done. We shall see. i expect to hear from him later today.
