After my first long trip in Minerva, I thought I had a DREADED rear main leak! Added some dye to the oil, after the next trip, I flashed it with my black light, it had splashed out of the filler, down the block & disappeared behind the starter & dripped from the trans. housing. On short runs, it DIDN'T drip. ALSO, DON'T ever slap your filler cap down HARD, It'll block off ALL breathing & it'll run out the rear main, LIKE A COW PEEING ON A FLAT ROCK. Mine even blew the DIPSTICK partly out! (After I get Vermin finished, my next project is to set up a proper PCV system & have the ONLY Model A in the neighborhood that DOESN'T leak oil.)
