If your for "less expensive" that's very relative.
No way it will be cheap
Fedex freight has worked well for me before
Greyhound has been good some; atrocious some. Least expensive likely
Truck would work but have to skid and protect. Great exposure to damage
I've heard of folks using forwarders
Forget UPS imho
