Re: Body to frame! Anyone ever have this?
The body has been off of the frame and the wooden structure has changed shape. Do get to bothered by it. Bolt the body down and let it sit for a couple of week and you find that the body will settle to the frame. This is common on coachbuilt car. (wooden structure with metal panels.) After a couple of week you'll find the bolts will be loose in different areas. Then you can worry about shimming the body. I've restored some early cars with wooden structures and this isn't out of the norm. John Poole
