Default Re: Need 1940 Ford air cleaner information

If you are having your car judged, the dry (Donaldson) air cleaner has a 91A part number on the bottom along with a D inside a diamond. The oil bath air cleaners ( I believe were made by United) may not have a part number on the bottom, Mike will certainly know. As you know the Green bible has replacement parts that will work listed. I will go look at the oil bath air cleaners I have. Probably the case that some do and some don't as the spare oil bath I have doesn't have any numbers. Maybe there were more then the 2 manufacturers for Ford.
