The pilot bearing is pressed into the flywheel. Once you get your new flywheel on the bench and the old one out of the car you can compare to see how far to install the new bushing.

If your reusing your old pilot, take a socket or drift the same size and knock it out of the flywheel. The drift it into the new flywheel and your good to go.
