I cannot imagine getting anything but spray into a roadster door. Eastwood markets a good spray sound deadener (Flexible Sealer & Sound Deadener 16 oz Aerosol) that would work good in a roadster or Phaeton door. I wonder though how much value sound deadener would be in a open car. I have a '29 Phaeton and the wind noise covers any body rattles.

My '31 S/W Town Sedan had spray deadener in the doors. I added additional Eastwood spray product to it. I also installed one layer of 1/4" thick double foil faced insulation. I rolled it up, worked it through the largest opening and then unrolled it within the door.
Good Day!
