Hi Peter, Suggestion #1 switch to an Optima battery. They are pricey but hard to piss off.

Suggestion #2, I've had good luck with Shewman's check valve fuel hose. Stops fuel going back to the tank making the start harder. I can go about a week between starts without a lot of cranking.
