I've found that no matter what your grain looks like, "somewhere" in the world, there's a grain that looks like that. You don't have to be ARTISTIC to do this!
You may be disappointed, until you clear coat it, THEN, it takes on a NEW life.
I saw a PALE YELLOW Roadster Pickup, with wood graining & it was REALLY beautiful!
When I had Minerva, an all BLACK '30 Coupe, I "thought" about doing ALL the body reveals, in woodgrain. Chuck, our GURU painter, thought it would be nifty.
