What type of trim is used in your area ?
Aluminum siding isn't used much anymore, if at all. Most is now vinyl. Aluminum is still used quite bit for trim as its so versatile [ easily cut and bent to fit almost anything]. I still use quite a bit of it, especially for flashing. But vinyl trim is getting better and starting to take over.
