Default Re: 1937 Ford Panel help

Some general alignment guidelines that seem to work.

First, everything loose. Then everything finger tight, then everything tight. If you tighten anything too soon and it is slightly off then you can get a cascading misalignment issue.

Start with the body, hood, and grille/radiator. Moving the grille/radiator up or down (or the body) affects the angle of the gaps of the hood. If your body to frame blocks or frame is not right that could affect the hood alignment.

Then fit the fenders to the grille, body, and frame.

Now the inner fenders.

Last fit fender brackets.

Go to www.wescottsauto.com > "tech" > "how to align a body to frame" for more detailed, yet general, information.

I hope this helps.
