GOOD point, Katy,
Never mounted them, but I bought 2 little streamlined, amber lamps, stud mounted. I "thought" about mounting them on the "A" post, just under the upper hinge, for SAFETY! My car was a Coupe. On a Fordor, "maybe" they would work, below the rear door, upper hinge????---OR on top of 2 STUBBY Antennas, mounted on the bumper???--NO FOXTAILS!---LOL
