Every vehicle I transport has a Story To Tell
If I had to pick one image to sum up what I do - this would be it ...
My friend Grant is behind the wheel of his newly acquired 1916 Stanley Mountain Steam Wagon.
His friend Arthur is seated next to him - friends and neighbors help frame the moment.
I had transported this vehicle down to Portland DMV from Anacortes, WA & back for inspection.
In my trailer is a 1913 Stanley Mountain Steam Wagon that Grant just sold - it is headed to California.
These would be my third and fourth Stanley Mountain Steam Wagons I was fortunate to transport.
Grant would drive without lights to the Washington Ferry at Anacortes right after I took this shot.
A bomb scare would delay their trip to Orcas Island where Grant owns & operates
the only commercial tour service utilizing a Stanley Mountain Steam Wagon in North America.
Grant & his wife Kathryn along with his Dad Kenny in Wichita, Kansas and Heather his caretaker are my friends now.
