Hey guys, it's been a while.
I am happy (thrilled actually) to report that ALL paint work has been completed. I have the box, tail gate and hood to buff.. Once the buffing is done, it shouldn't take too long to complete this project.
The hood was beautiful to begin with - perhaps the best piece of sheet metal on this truck. Unfortunately it did not fit well enough (for me anyway) at the cowl. The hood was about 1/2" too wide from side to side across the back.
No surprise to those that know me but I split the hood and narrowed the back. It now fits perfectly and, no, even the best eyes could ever tell it had been split.
