My floor has been replaced and it is not correct for originality.

Now that I see Mart’s picture I believe mine had tube remnants when I got it but no clamp. It was 8 years ago so my memory is not great.

Thanks guys for all of the info. As I am already not original, I’ll use the hole that I have, or find somewhere that makes more sense.

I really appreciate the input and hopefully this thread helps someone in the future, as there is virtually no info on this topic on the internet that I could find.

I couldn’t even find it in the 1933-1934 Ford restoration manual from the early v8 club.
