The drum type parking brake was fairly common on the larger trucks with the 4 speed transmission. The band should have an adjustment feature on it. The lining on the band is basically brake shoe material. You’ll have to have a big truck service facility reline the band if it’s worn through. The steel drum can get damaged if the brake was used with a worn out band. Used drums may be available......if the brake assembly is the same as the regular Ford trucks.
