The tag on the carrier will tell exactly what it is.

There were two 9" in 67. One was the wagon and Ranchero and the other for FE engines in sedans and HT.

Available in 28 and 31 spline, locking and non locking, and 2 or 4 pinion gears.

The tag is the key to ID.



Axle lengths were all the same and the external difference was slightly wider spring centers on the wagon/Ranchero.
