No Chuck, I've never seen one worn out that bad. That engine must of run in the dust bowl with no air cleaner. A friend of mine had one of those engines built in an auto machine shop that wasn't used to building flatheads. They didn't remove the sleeves and started boring the engine. Instead of chips coming down from the boring bar there was a steel string coming out. They finished boring it in a Sunnen CK-10 cyl. hone .030 The sleeves are only .040 wall so now there only .025 walls. But as far as I know the engine is still running. Walt
