LIGHTBULB! I just had an A-HA moment. I couldnt get my head around it because I was assuming that it must be somehow connected to the frame. Thanks for bearing with me until I ‘got it’. I will do a post about how (if) my solid rear mounts work. It wont be until spring, at least.
