To use that system as is with larger lines would
not have any bypass system included which would
not be a smart idea when you filter before the bearings.If the filter became plugged and did its job then you would suffer oil starvation not what you want.A compromise would be a spin on filter disguised inside which already exists and looks not too bad but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
