Generator question
My 37 is still 6 volt positive ground but has a voltage regulator not a cut out. It quit charging. I jumped the battery to the field terminal on the regulator and still no output from the generator. I did check for voltage to the regulator. My question is, Which 2 brush generator do I need? My fan is mounted to the generator pulley and I realize I will have to use my pulley but want to get the right generator. Are 40 and later 6V generators all the same? Not much luck searching for parts to rebuild. Anyone have one?
